Denver five-piece Eldren have spent the past two years dealing with both tragedy and joy, as they're still dealing with the untimely passing of their founding bassist while also experiencing the ecstatic feeling of sharing the stage with bands like Dr. Dog, Cold War Kids and Imagine Dragons. The band's spacey pop psychedelics are pushed to their limits under the careful direction of these musicians, evolving and expanding exponentially into an expansive atmosphere of aural fireworks and unexpected arrangements.
The band is currently gearing up for the release of this new record, "Miss Information Aged," which is due out Sept. 21 via Needlejuice Records.
On their new single, "Still Want More," the band infuses their psych-pop frenzy with watery basslines, layered vocals and a sustained feeling of synth euphoria. The track possesses a unique musical and emotional resonance which sinks down into your bones and heart, inspiring every muscle to move and react in time with these unstoppable rhythms. There's a danceable spirit here that blends with distinctly funky vibes to create a theatrical pop sound reminiscent of bands like Queen or Tame Impala. "Still Want More" is the perfect song to carry us through this summer season, with windows rolled down and voices raised together.
